MARC Train - Meet the MARC Connection Service - Point of Rocks Delay
Please be advised, Frederick Transit has notified MARC that Meet the MARC busses are running approximately 10 minutes behind schedule this evening as a result of heavy traffic in the Frederick Area.
MARC Train - Tr 642 (5:50 dpt Wash) will offload all passengers at BWI. Transfer to 544.
Penn Line Train 642 (5:50 dpt Wash) will offload all passengers at BWI station due to mechanical issues involving Air Conditioning and Lighting. Penn Line Train 544 will pick up Train 642 passengers at BWI and continue north. Train 544 is due to arrive at BWI at 7:00pm.

Updated: Camden Line Train 854 (5:22 dpt Wash) has departed with a 22 minute delay after needing to make a late equipment change to help meet passenger occupancy requirements. We apologize for the inconvenience.
MARC Train - Tr 875 (4:25 dpt Wash) will operate one car short - Expect 10 min departure delay
Brunswick Line Train 875 (4:25 dpt Wash) will operate with one less car this evening due to mechanical issues resulting from severe rainfall this afternoon. Conductors will restrict boarding as appropriate to ensure the safety of all passenger and crews. It is requested that passengers not traveling beyond Brunswick utilize Train 877 (4:55 dpt Wash) to allow sufficient room for West Virginia commuters. Train 875 is expected to depart with a 5-10 delay.
MARC Train - Limited Station Announcements
As a result of ongoing severe weather conditions in the Baltimore area, the MARC Operations Center has reduced communications capability. Technicians are working to resolve the issue, but at the current time we are unable to operate the Live Audio systems that provide updated Station Announcements.
MARC Train - UPDATED: Flash Flood Warnings - Brunswick, Camden, and Penn Line
The National Weather Service has issued Flash Flood warnings throughout the greater Baltimore area until 6:00pm. As a result, CSX has issued flash flood warnings throughout much of the Camden Line service area. Camden Line Trains should expect delays at a minimum of 10-15 minutes throughout evening service due to trains operating at a reduced speeds. For Brunswick Line Passengers - At this time, the Flash Flood warnings do not extend to the Brunswick Line service area, though probability is high that the restrictions in place on the Camden Line will extend west throughout the evening. Stay tuned for updates as MARC evening service begins and throughout the remainder of service. UPDATE: Flash Flood Warnings have also been issued by Amtrak for the Penn Line in and around Baltimore Penn Station. MARC Trains arriving and departing Penn Station should expect delays until further notice.

MARC Train - Heat-related speed restrictions have been issued on the Camden and Brunswick Lines
CSX has issued heat-related speed restrictions on the Camden and Brunswick Lines for this afternoon. Trains will travel at reduced speed on both lines. 5-15 minute delays are possible--the fewer stops a train makes, the more delay it will incur (since express trains operate longer distances at a higher rate of speed).
